Hi my name is Triffan.
I am a very brave kat and here is my story.
As a cat of fearlessness, bravery, and intelligence, I intend to conquer every challenge I come across. The Birds are one example of my resourcefulness and bravery in the face of danger. I live in a house with three kats, two d*gs and two Birds. In the summer, the birds live in an outdoor gazebo-like cage where my sister Dizzy and I can sit and watch them from the deck, but in the winter time my humans bring them in and put them in a cage that hangs right over our food bowl! It is as if the humans were asking us to eat those two delectable little morsels feathers and all. All us kats had to do was knock the cage over and they were ours. Well, I discovered that the task wasn't quite so easy. The cage was hung just above my highest jump from the highest surface that I could reach. To make matters worse, the Birds would taunt me and my sister constantly. Those feather-brains were just asking to be eaten, and I couldn't reach them. For days, weeks, months I attempted to reach the cage with no success. Sometimes I could even feel the edge of the cage with my claws on some of my higher jumps. Then, on a cold January day, I had enough of the teasings and tauntings of the Birds. I mustered all my energy and courage and jumped into the air. I felt the cage!---and then I was falling to the ground---WITH THE CAGE COMING WITH ME!!! I had done it! Only then did I find that my troubles had just begun. The Birds were flying everywhere, the ankle-biting d*g was running around and yapping like a nut, my sister and aunt were scared and hiding in a corner, and the big monster d*g was barking up a storm. Quickly gathering my wits about me, I calmed my sister and aunt and the d*gs and managed to con the Birds back into the cage so I could eat them at my leisure. Unfortunately for my stomach, my human found the upturned cage before I could feast on my delicious snack. Well, maybe next year..... |
